We are currently recruiting for an Estimator to join a growing, family-run commercial construction business based in Laindon. This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator with a strong commercial or fit-out background to join a company known for its great office culture and supportive team environment.
Estimator Role
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for pricing a wide range of commercial and fit-out projects. The successful Estimator will work closely with the wider team, reviewing drawings, preparing tenders and supporting the business as it continues to grow.
Estimator Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial and fit-out projects
- Reviewing and interpreting drawings and tender information
- Pricing tenders and supporting all estimating activities
- Ensuring all estimates are completed accurately and submitted on time
- Working closely with the team to support project planning and delivery
Estimator Requirements
- Proven experience as an Estimator within commercial construction and / or fit-out
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project pricing
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Confident using estimating software and Microsoft Office
