We are particularly interested in candidates who understand the construction sector, know the different trades and roles within the industry and have a good understanding of construction qualifications and compliance. The Role
As a Construction Recruitment Resourcer, you will support our recruitment consultants by sourcing, screening and registering suitable construction candidates.
Your responsibilities will include:
Sourcing candidates through job boards, CV databases and recruitment platforms. Advertising construction vacancies and reviewing applications. Contacting candidates by telephone to discuss their experience, availability and suitability. Registering candidates and maintaining accurate records. Carrying out initial candidate screening. Checking Right to Work documentation. Checking construction cards, qualifications, tickets and other relevant documentation. Obtaining references and ensuring candidate compliance is completed correctly.
Matching suitable candidates to available vacancies. Keeping candidates updated throughout the recruitment process. Liaising with clients and recruitment consultants regarding candidate requirements. Supporting the team with filling vacancies quickly and efficiently. Building and maintaining a strong database of construction candidates. Providing a professional service to candidates and clients.
About You
We are looking for someone who has previous experience within the construction industry and understands the sector. You may currently be working in construction, site administration, site management, trades, labour coordination, construction compliance or another construction-related role and be looking for a new career path. Alternatively, you may already have recruitment or resourcing experience and have a strong understanding of the construction sector.
The successful candidate will be: Confident speaking to candidates and clients over the telephone. Organised and able to manage multiple tasks. Proactive and comfortable working in a busy office environment. A good communicator with strong attention to detail. Confident using computers, email and Microsoft Office. Comfortable working as part of a team. Reliable, motivated and keen to develop their career. Previous recruitment experience is essential.
