This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of projects from inception through to completion. The successful candidate will oversee approximately 56 live construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The Role
- Manage multiple construction projects from inception through to completion.
- Oversee contract administration, commercial performance, and project delivery.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations.
- Lead and support Project Managers, Site Managers, and site teams across multiple projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress, programme performance, and project costs.
- Identify and mitigate commercial and operational risks.
- Ensure projects comply with all contractual, quality, and health and safety requirements.
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to senior management.
- Drive performance and maintain high standards across all live projects.
About You
- Proven experience working as a Contracts Manager within a main contractor environment.
- Demonstrable experience successfully managing 56 live construction projects simultaneously.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction contracts.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
