Hello! We are Vita Health Group and have an exciting opportunity for an NHS MSK Rehabilitation Therapist (BASRaT/SST) to join our service.
Main duties of the job
- You will join a team of Physiotherapists and BASRaT members to provide first‑class, evidence‑based assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to employees within a community NHS MSK setting in Bromley at our Orpington or Crystal Palace clinics.
- The role includes delivering group exercise, one‑to‑one rehabilitation with a wide range of patients, health promotion and pain management/functional rehabilitation groups.
Job responsibilities
- Provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for NHS employees.
- Deliver group exercise and individual therapy sessions.
- Design individualized and progressive rehabilitation programmes.
- Manage caseload and run rehabilitation classes.
- Deliver soft‑tissue treatments and set goals.
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Sports Rehabilitation or Sports and Exercise Therapy.
- Full graduate member of BASRaT with entitlement to use the title Graduate Sports Rehabilitator or SST registration.
- Experience working individually and within a team.
- Proven experience managing a caseload of patients and running rehabilitation classes.
- Ability to deliver soft‑tissue treatments, set goals, and design individualised and progressive rehabilitation programmes.
- Adept in time management and prioritisation.
- Sound musculoskeletal knowledge including assessment/treatment of common conditions of the spine, upper limb and lower limb; awareness of post‑operative protocols and precautions.
- Friendly and approachable with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player.
- Commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of the client.
- Experience working with Physiotherapists.
- Prior NHS experience.
- Experience with chronic pain patients.
