Vita Health Group (VHG) – part of the wider Spire Healthcare Group – offers a unique opportunity to join as a Deputy Commercial Finance Director. Although employed by VHG, this role works across all of Spire Primary Care and supports the Commercial Finance Director in leading the commercial finance function, driving financial performance, partnering with senior stakeholders, improving commercial decision‑making, and ensuring robust financial governance. The role acts as a senior business partner, providing insight, challenge, and strategic support across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial finance function

Qualifications
- Formal accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA) with at least 10 years post‑qualified experience
- Experience working in a dynamic finance function
- Experience operating in multi‑disciplinary teams that recognise business‑wide capabilities and priorities
- Experienced in leading Commercial Finance teams, coaching and developing team members to high performance
- Strong understanding of key financial and operational performance metrics
Desirable
- University degree such as BA (Hons) or BSc
- Experience working in non‑finance teams and communicating externally with customers at a senior level
- Experience leading M&A and/or finance system integrations
- Experience in a healthcare environment; Disability Confident
