This is an exciting opportunity to join the Clinical Leadership Team for Kent and Medway as a Step 2 Deputy Clinical Lead. The role is remote with required travel within Kent and Medway, and occasional travel elsewhere in the UK. You will work closely with Regional Clinical and Operational Leads to support the clinical delivery and operational effectiveness of the NHS Talking Therapies service.
Your responsibilities include clinical governance of clinicians and providing supervision to Low Intensity Therapists and trainees.
Essential qualifications:
- Post graduate diploma in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- BABCP/BPS accreditation
- IAPT/NHS TT Supervision qualification at Low Intensity
- Experience of working within an IAPT/NHS TT/Primary Care mental Health Service with a full range of mental health issues from a clinical and social perspective
- Understanding of acute mental health/psychological assessments
- Experience of risk assessment and routine clinical outcome monitoring
- Well‑developed skills in communicating effectively technical and/or clinically sensitive information to people and their families
- Proficiency in IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office packages, databases and electronic record systems
- Minimum 5 mb download internet speed at home address
- Awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
- Attended NHS TT Supervision training
Desirable qualifications:
- Experience of working within an IAPT‑LTC service
- Completed LI LTC training
- Experience of generating clinical policy and/or guidance
- Experience of using data to inform clinical modelling
- Experience of clinical leadership and line managing clinical staff
