About the Role
We’re looking for a confident and experienced Dermatology Nurse to join us as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, leading community‑based dermatology clinics and shaping the future of our service. In this autonomous and rewarding role, you will:
- Lead and deliver community dermatology clinics with a varied caseload
- Run independent prescribing clinics for chronic skin disease management
- Support the skin cancer pathway, performing minor procedures such as punch biopsies, curettage, shave procedures and simple excisions
- Provide expert assessment, advice and ongoing support to patients and their families
- Act as a key point of contact, building trusted relationships through excellent communication
You’ll also play a vital role in:
- Coordinating prescriptions efficiently using digital systems
- Tracking results, documenting care and managing patient communications
- Contributing to MDT discussions and service development
- Role‑modeling evidence‑based, compassionate care
What We’re Looking For
- NMC Level 1 Registered Nurse
- Non‑Medical Independent Prescriber (V300)
- Specialist dermatology training (assessment & treatment)
- Significant experience in community dermatology
Ideally you will be:
- Confident working independently
- Highly organised with strong digital skills
- A compassionate clinician with leadership potential
