Housekeeper – Belfast
Hourly Rate: ÂŁ12.50
Contract: Permanent, 8 hours per week
Working Hours: 10am – 2pm, 2 shifts per week, Monday–Friday

Vita Student’s next‑level apartment design offers a variety of studios to suit our students’ lives, providing style, luxury, and comfort surrounded by premium amenities and a vibrant city life. We’re expanding our housekeeping team with the appointment of an experienced Housekeeper to deliver a luxury, home‑from‑home cleaning service for our residents’ studio apartments whilst ensuring our premium site and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional, personalised room cleaning service to students, maintaining studios to a clean, healthy & presentable standard.
- Work according to established cleaning schedules, performing duties such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, anti‑bacterial surface cleaning, and bed making.
- Ensure facilities are respected and maintained by students and guests.
- Deliver timely solutions to issues or challenges that may arise.
- Act as the point of contact for any possible incident or emergency on site.
- Maintain waste management areas in compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Use a smartphone/tablet to record and manage each studio clean, photographing before and after each cleaning.
- Report any concerning student behaviour that could indicate welfare concerns.
- Monitor cleaning stock levels and communicate needs to the Assistant Residence Manager or Residence Manager, assisting in stock ordering.
- Understand and follow COSHH regulations when using cleaning chemicals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Well‑versed housekeeping professional with experience in large, multi‑room residence facilities such as accommodation buildings, hotels, or hospitals.
- Technologically astute, able to use the variety of software and systems that support our operations.
- Good understanding of COSHH regulations and practices.

- Excellent communication skills; English is the primary spoken language (multilingual skills welcomed).
