Salary: £26,000 per annum

Hours Per Week: 40 Hours

Working Patterns: Our Supervisors work collaboratively throughout the week, Tuesday – Sunday. Shifts start as early as 7am and finish as late as 2am. Days and hours rotate weekly based on demand and team availability.

House of Social Food Hall is Manchester’s newest and most exciting food hall, featuring five independent kitchens serving diverse food and drinks. We seek an accomplished Supervisor to lead the on-site team, ensuring delivery of our premium standards. Located on two levels within Vita Group’s purpose-built student accommodation, the venue spans 12,000 square feet of dining and drinking space.

Role Responsibilities
  • Support daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, presentation, and compliance with hygiene and quality standards.
  • Lead on the floor, motivating performance and maintaining product standards to deliver a premium customer experience.
  • Supervise team members, provide feedback, and report performance to management.
  • Train new staff on standards, customer service, and operational duties.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and support team development.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop relationships with residents and customers to foster community.
  • Oversee operational practices and suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with management on strategic goals, operations, and logistics.
Candidate Profile

We are looking for a professional with:

  • Leadership experience in team management, operations, facilities, and budgeting.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Experience in foodservice, hospitality, or retail management, especially in food halls or multi-unit settings.
  • Ability to represent a luxury brand effectively.
  • Technologically savvy, with good knowledge of POS systems.
