Overview

Day Concierge role at Vita Group in Manchester. Hourly rate: £13. Working Hours: 7am – 10pm. 16 hours per week, Monday – Sunday. Designed for the life blood of the city, Union CoLiving apartments provide a platform for young professionals to thrive. Central locations with access to work, styled apartments, co-working space and social hubs. We are expanding our Day Concierge team to deliver a luxury, home-from-home experience for our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Front of House / Reception: greet and welcome residents and guests with a warm, friendly attitude.
  • Manage room turnarounds, check-ins and check-outs.
  • Be on hand for questions which may arise.
  • Ensure facilities are looked after by residents and guests.
  • Deliver solutions to issues or challenges that may arise.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain the upkeep of the premium site and facilities; communal areas must be cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Conduct block walks every 4-6 hours, surveying and reporting on every area of the building.
  • Replenish refreshment stock (coffee beans, tea bags, milk, vending products).
  • Be a point of contact for incidents or emergencies on site.
  • Manage and store parcels to allow residents easy access to deliveries.
  • Maintain waste management areas in line with health & safety regulations and address hazards as required.

Professional Experience

  • Experienced customer service professional, with a track record of delivering premium experiences to residents and guests.
  • Previous Concierge experience is advantageous.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety of communal areas.
  • Technologically astute; comfortable with using technology systems and software to support daily operations.

  • Support a multicultural environment with an equal approach to colleagues and residents.
  • Excellent communication skills; multilingual abilities are welcomed.
  • Strong organisational and leadership qualities; ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Adaptability, creativity, positivity and resilience.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with reasonable adjustments as needed.
  • Flexibility: facilities open 24/7/365; occasional time off may be required to ensure continuous service.
