We currently have an opportunity for a manager within our Portfolio Management team. The Portfolio Management team sits within the Finance function at Vita Group and plays a key role in bringing clarity, structure and commercial visibility to the business across both student and residential brands. The team helps the wider organisation understand performance, supports important revenue decisions and keeps communication consistent with internal teams and institutional partners.
As the Manager, you will take ownership of core reporting, pricing and revenue processes, get involved in strategic work across the portfolio and help shape how the team operates. Ideal for a Senior Analyst looking to take the next step in their property career, this role will suit someone who thrives on analysing data, uncovering performance drivers and translating insight into recommendations that shape business decisions.
- Reporting & Insight: Lead the regular weekly and monthly reporting cycles, making sure revenue and lettings performance is clearly understood. Maintain strong data standards, prepare materials for institutional updates and oversee all reporting related to both student and residential assets.
- Pricing & Revenue Management: Take responsibility for shaping annual revenue and pricing plans, setting revenue targets and helping define pricing strategies. Monitor performance throughout the lettings cycle, identify opportunities or concerns early and recommend promotional or optimisation tactics when needed.
- Portfolio & Stakeholder Support: Act as a key point of coordination for institutional partners, handling queries, approvals and periodic reporting. Work closely with Sales, Customer Engagement, Operations, Finance and Marketing to ensure everyone has clear visibility of commercial and operational developments.
- Team & Process Development: Work with the Head of Portfolio Management to improve how the team operates. This includes refining processes, tightening workflows and strengthening reporting structures, all with the aim of making the team more effective and consistent.
- Projects & Strategic Analysis: Contribute to strategic work across the business, including ad-hoc analysis linked to acquisitions, disposals and wider business planning. Lead on projects connected to non-core revenue streams, such as summer revenue initiatives, and support other teams with commercial insight whenever needed.
