We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive who will be supporting our growth in the Food Service channel.
In a nutshell, you will be responsible for:
- Full relationship ownership of our end user accounts within the Food Service channel including Business & Industry, QSR, Coffee & Juice Bars, Gyms, Leisure & Travel
- Develop engaged relationships with your customer counterparts
- Implement engaging and interactive activations across key customer touchpoints to enhance brand presence and customer satisfaction
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities across current & new end users
- Organise & represent Vita Coco at channel tradeshows and events helping to gain leads and elevate the brand.
In more detail, this means:
- Utilising data to maximise our sales growth, influencing promotions, distribution and availability
- Working with the Marketing team to bring Vita Coco alive via POS and experiences
- Effective internal & external communication of performance, recommending specific actions where the business looks to push forward growth areas and rectify performance issues
- Keeping track of competitor activities across your channel
- Identifying target accounts across the country and building the business case for how to win with that account
- Managing an annual trade show budget, ensuring Vita Coco shows up in the best way possible to maximise leads & return
The job description is not exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake other duties in line with their ability and the changing needs of the business.
Preferred knowledge, skills & experience:
- Experience of working within Food & Drinks
- Clean Drivers Licence
- The self-drive & an entrepreneurial mindset to produce results and win new business
- A passion for sales, with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- IT Literate – with advanced user ability in both MS Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint
- The passion to work in the food and drink industry and most importantly, a love of coconut water!
