IN A NUTSHELL, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR…
- Overall ownership of Month end process and financial statement management
- Ensure compliance with Group reporting requirements
- Provide support to Interim Finance Manager on preparing of Local/Statutory reporting, including adjustments.
- Overall oversight of EMEA Controls environment and liaison Internal audit (including maintaining EMEA Controls matrix & Authorisation matrix) to ensure we are SOX compliant
- Assist Finance Director in streamlining the European entity set up (UK, France, Spain, Germany) and ensuring we are operating efficiently & compliantly, both internally & externally
- Onboarding our German entity: Preparation & completion of Statutory accounts, including liaison with external accounting & corporate tax teams
- Processing monthly payroll, including management of company RSU scheme at EMEA level
- Tax compliance – Payroll taxes (all entities), Duty (all entities) & Corporate Tax (Germany)
- Collaborate cross functionally to ensuring we are operationally compliant with Local regulations in all our jurisdictions, for example, Insurance policies, Commercial registrations, Payroll registrations, ESG requirements
- Oversight of Purchase (AP) and Sales (AR) ledger through management of AP/AR Team Leader
- Ownership of automation projects within AR (High Radius) and AP (Zip)
- Review & ownership of EMEA expenses policy & processing
- Line Management of 3 x Direct Reports

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor degree and 5-10 years of post-qualified finance
- Qualified accountant in ACA/CIMA with relevant corporate background, preferably FMCG
- Experience using an ERP system (SAP experience preferred but not essential)
- Experience with USGAAP reporting and with UK & Europe local statutory/legal requirements
- Top numeracy skills and system (eg Excel & Power BI) proficiency
- Strong commercial understanding and experience within commercial organizations
- Analytical outperformer, an eye for detail, yet ability to see & deliver the bigger picture
- Provide an open minded approach – always looking to improve how things are done
- Ability and skills to challenge, influence, interact with cross functional teams
- A hands‑on, self‑motivated, flexible attitude and a willingness to learn
- A passion to work in the food and beverage industry and a love of all things coconut!
