The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
As an Metering Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing planned routine and breakdown maintenance on Fiscal, Environmental, Allocation and Base Management (production) metering equipment and associated instrumentation.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitor metering system performance and data to minimise metering errors.
- Completion of any corrective work identified during normal operations or whilst carrying out PMR’s.
- Record and report mismeasurements to onshore support staff supplying pertinent data in an accurate and timely manner.
- Record keeping of metering systems offshore, records to include the upkeep of; OGA/ Fiscal metering logbooks, Test equipment certification files: Instrument calibration records, Metering System drawings, Densitometer control charts and change outs, Turbine meter proving records and control charts.
- Liaison with client both onshore and offshore to identify and highlight any problem areas.
- Provision of a report for each trip detailing work carried out, particularly in areas of faults, corrective work and suggestive improvements, handover notes for back-to-back should also be provided.
- Co-ordinate equipment required for repairs, change outs, schedule offshore repairs for metering equipment.
- Test equipment to ensure continuity of service.
- Assist auditors, vendors and other third parties during site visits.
