I am hiring for a Technical Sales Engineer for a specialist supplier of precision cutting tools and tooling solutions. The ideal candidate will be a driven individual, who will be able to take on business development across the North West.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow an existing customer base across North West UK
- Identify and win new business across manufacturing, engineering, and aerospace sectors
- Provide technical advice on cutting tool selection, application, and optimisation
- Prepare and present technical proposals and quotations
- Work closely with the internal support team to ensure customers get the right solution
- Report on pipeline, territory activity, and market intelligence
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical sales β ideally cutting tools, tooling, or precision engineering
- Strong understanding of machining processes: turning, milling, drilling, threading
- Self-motivated, well-organised, and comfortable working autonomously
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Full UK driving licence
- An engineering qualification or background is a distinct advantage
Salary is up to Β£55,000 depending on experience, plus commission. Company car, phone and tablet provided.
