Visum Recruitment are delighted to represent a leading supplier of engineering equipment to the water industry in their search for a Regional Sales Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team, driving the strategic direction and commercial success of a technical product portfolio. The role will be predominantly home-based with external travel to and from clients in the Southern region, and the majority of the work will be working with Thames and Southern Water.

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Bonus & Company Car

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve budgets and objectives for whole area and designated accounts.
  • Own the Customer Engagement strategy for the Accounts in their region.
  • Engagement with Water Utility contractors, Multi Utility contractors and Nav's to promote the company products and formulate agreements where applicable and/or back sell product sales into the companies existing or new distribution partners (National and Independent).
  • Attend regular professional association meetings/dinners relevant to market.
  • Key Account Management captures all aspects of the business relationship, requiring overall management and awareness of Profitability, Turnover, Product Mix, Project Management, Payment, Pricing, CRM and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Working with Southern & Thames water frameworks.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a comparable role, working with similar products or within a technical environment.
  • Strong interest in technical products; prior exposure to water technology is considered an advantage.
