This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team, driving the strategic direction and commercial success of a technical product portfolio. You will bridge technical expertise with market insight, ensuring products meet evolving customer needs, comply with industry standards, and remain competitive in key market segments. The role also involves product training, enabling sales and internal teams to develop technical competence and market knowledge.

Salary: Up to £65,000 + Bonus & Company Car

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of the product portfolio, including upgrades, rationalisation and end-of-life planning.
  • Conduct internal and external product training to develop technical knowledge and product understanding.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify growth and innovation opportunities.
  • Work closely with sales, technical, and marketing teams to support product launches, tender submissions, and promotional activities.
  • Lead the handling of product complaints, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain product documentation, data sheets, and approvals to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Experience in product management, technical sales, or product engineering, ideally within the water industry.
  • Strong technical and project management background, combined with commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP or CRM systems is a plus.
  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related discipline desirable.
  • Experience in the water or process industries is an advantage.
