Visum Recruitment is recruiting for an Internal Sales role for a leading company within the Pump Industry.
Key Responsibilities and Duties include
- Monitor and respond to all customer enquires sent to the branch through email or phone calls.
- Attend site as and when required when quoting work.
- Contact suppliers to get prices and lead times on parts required for quotes.
- Convert quotes to orders on the system once accepted by the client.
- Advise customers that goods are ready for collection.
- Arrange shipping of the goods to site if required.
- Convert jobs to invoices on the system once collected or shipped.
- Work with the internal service team to quote remedial works required from engineer site visit reports.
- Convert remedial quotes to jobs once accepted by the client.
- Place orders with suppliers for parts required.
- Notifying the internal service team once all materials for remedial jobs are booked into stock and the jobs are ready to schedule.
- Assist with booking in & handling of inward and outward stock items when required.
- Cover for Service Co-Ordinator when on leave or extended absence.
Experience
- Knowledge on Pumps and the Water Industry is essential for the role.
Skills
- Computer literate in various Microsoft packages and company operated systems.
- Have existing knowledge or the ability to learn detailed technical requirements of the equipment being sold to clients.
