Sales Engineer in England

Visum Recruitment has the pleasure of representing our client, a leading international manufacturer of belting solutions, who are seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team covering the Midlands region.
This is a full-time, permanent position with immediate interviews available.
The role of the Sales Engineer is to manage and grow customer relationships, drive sales across existing and new accounts, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Sales Engineer Job Overview
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and structured visit plans.
Maintain and grow sales with existing customers; generate new business.
Identify opportunities, provide solutions, and negotiate/manage contracts.
Report market intelligence and update CRM with accurate sales data.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
Undertake training and personal development to support company growth.
Travel across the assigned Midlands region; ensure efficient time and territory management.
Sales Engineer Requirements
Experience in technical or manufacturing sales; belting or materials handling advantageous.
Strong commercial awareness, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Competent in CRM systems and structured sales reporting.
Ability to work independently across a large territory.
Full UK driving licence.
Sales Engineer Salary & Benefits
Circa £45,000 (depending on experience)
