This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and develop relationships with major contractor accounts across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a market-leading product portfolio, driving specifications on large-scale projects, and developing long-term relationships with key stakeholders within major construction and M&E contractors. You will work closely with internal sales and technical teams to track projects, coordinate activity, and maximise opportunities across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing key contractor accounts
- Promoting and specifying engineered mechanical product solutions
- Driving business development across major construction projects
- Tracking projects and maintaining CRM records
- Coordinating with regional sales teams and technical colleagues
- Building strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Supporting strategic account growth across the UK
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience within sales or key account management
- Background within engineering, M&E, construction, fluid handling, valves, piping systems, pumps, or rotating equipment would be advantageous
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Commercially driven with a proactive approach
- Ability to manage projects and work autonomously
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationally when required
