Visum Recruitment has the pleasure of representing our client, an Engineering company who are on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to cover the UK. The ideal candidate will be overseeing all aspects of heat exchange enquiry generation and processing based in or around the Midlands area and will have sound knowledge of heat exchangers within varied industrial applications and work as part of a customer facing team.

Job Overview:

  • Increase sales in line with company growth and profit aspirations to support the delivery of our commercial sales strategy and forecasts.
  • Experience in mechanical engineering production & service - ideally heat exchangers or similar.
  • Actively seek new business opportunities from existing and new sectors, on after-sales support services and provide technical back-up as required.
  • Customer visits are essential from initial customer development to onsite heat exchanger assessments and project meetings to enable solutions to be quoted; other members of the Sales and Management team can support to develop knowledge with product, services, and customer expectations.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferred previous experience of heat exchanger design, manufacture, servicing and repair processes.
  • Understanding of fabrication processes, methods and modern manufacturing techniques.
  • Demonstrable sales experience, preferably within industrial sectors e.g., General Industrial, Rail, Marine, Power Generation.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide.

Salary & Benefits:
