Visum Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client in the geared motors industry, who are seeking a Business Development Executive to cover the West Midlands and North West of the UK. This role would suit someone with sales experience who enjoys speaking with customers, developing new business and building relationships. Industry experience is not required, as full product training will be provided.

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining relationships with existing customers, helping to grow the company’s presence in the market.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Cold call prospective customers to introduce the company and identify opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Arrange and attend customer meetings
  • Prepare and deliver proposals and quotations
  • Negotiate and close sales opportunities
  • Work with internal teams to support customer requirements
  • Update CRM and report on sales activity

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in proactive B2B sales
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Comfortable using CRM systems
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary circa £35,000
  • Hours 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
