Overview
Service Sales Manager required to drive regional sales within the engineering industry. Must have proven sales success in selling service or maintenance contracts, preferably within the machinery or engineering sector. Full product training will be provided.
Region and compensation
Region: South of Oxford (home based) travel to customers required 3 days per week. Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + Bonus + Car or Allowance + Expenses. Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
Responsibilities
- Lead the sales of service and maintenance contracts across the South Coast, alongside a couple of other sales colleagues. Work closely with end users to grow sales and enhance brand visibility.
- Deliver and exceed regional sales targets across bookings and shipments.
- Develop and manage key client relationships, becoming the Basis of Design (BoD) early in project stages.
- Create proposals, quotations, and solution-based presentations using a structured sales process.
- Expand the customer base and drive brand loyalty through campaigns and strategic engagement.
- Monitor competitor activity and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales reporting and forecasting.
- Represent the business at industry trade events and support wider business initiatives.
