The opportunity
I’m working with an established refrigeration business who are growing their service team and need experienced refrigeration engineers across the UK. They have roles in several regions, so even if there isn’t one in your exact area today, get in touch. The role
- Plan and carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs on commercial refrigeration systems
- Fault-find, diagnose and repair equipment such as cold rooms, display cabinets, condensing units and packs
- Work independently and manage your own workload and customers across your patch
- Complete accurate job sheets, F-Gas records and reports
- Represent the company professionally on site
About you
- Proven experience as a refrigeration service or maintenance engineer, ideally 3+ years in commercial refrigeration
- Level 2/3 refrigeration and air conditioning qualification, or an apprenticeship background
- F-Gas certified
- Comfortable lone working, with a full UK driving licence
- Good fault-finding skills and a customer-focused attitude
- CO2 or industrial refrigeration experience is a bonus, and for some roles ammonia experience is valued
