We are on the lookout for an experienced Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Strategist to become a key part of our talented and growing team. The role can be based from any of our offices in Stockton‑on‑Tees, Newcastle Upon Tyne, or Manchester City Centre. We are also open to UK‑based remote working options for the right candidate, as long as you have the full right to work in the UK.

The CRO Strategist will own their client portfolio, lead and oversee the implementation of CRO strategies to support the growth and profitability of our clients’ businesses. They will drive excellence while maintaining a client‑first approach, ensuring strategies align with business objectives and deliver measurable impact. With a strong focus on performance, they will consistently improve website performance and respond proactively to evolving client needs. They will also collaborate with internal teams to refine and enhance CRO methodologies, ensuring continuous optimisation and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Nurture and own the relationship with your portfolio of clients.
  • Ensure client retention is at an all‑time high and best in class.
  • Execute CRO services of a high quality, servicing all clients fully and efficiently.
  • Measure client happiness by NPS and retention levels, and take appropriate action when scores are not as desired.
  • Continuously strive to produce the highest results for Visualsoft clients via CRO.
  • Own and be accountable for all results, implementing changes where required to improve.
  • Devise and own best‑in‑class CRO strategies for your portfolio of clients.
  • Share positive and negative results across the business with relevant key stakeholders to benefit other client portfolios.
  • Implement industry‑leading strategies, including first‑to‑market initiatives where beneficial.

Requirements:

  • Extensive proven experience on either an agency or client side specialising in CRO.
  • Proven expertise in external CRO platforms and tools, analytics, forecasting and measurement.
  • Experience building and executing CRO strategies, whether in‑house or for clients.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines both as part of a team and individually.
  • Senior‑level client‑facing experience.
  • Client meeting experience and proven strategy presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and data‑driven mindset.

Desirable:

  • Experience in eCommerce.
  • Experience in other digital media channels.
  • Google Data Studio.
  • Attribution modelling.
  • Google Tag Manager.
