Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Shopify Developer. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, from theme customisation to app integration. You will be responsible for implementing new features, optimising site performance, and ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. Your expertise in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be crucial in bringing our design concepts to life and pushing the boundaries of what is possible on the Shopify platform.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, customise, and maintain our Shopify and Shopify Plus e-commerce storesTranslate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality, responsive codeBuild and modify Shopify themes using your expert knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptImplement and manage third-party app integrations, ensuring seamless functionalityOptimise website performance for speed, scalability, and conversionTroubleshoot and resolve any technical issues, bugs, or performance bottlenecksCollaborate closely with our design, marketing, and content teams to deliver a cohesive and brand-aligned online experienceStay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, trends, and best practices in e-commerce developmentContribute to the entire development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment
Requirements
Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of past projectsExcellent knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating languageProficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including ES6+)Proficient in using Figma to interpret designs and collaborate with the design teamExperience with responsive and mobile-first design principlesA solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and how to resolve themFamiliarity with version control systems, particularly GitStrong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork abilities
