We’re looking for an experienced Lead AV Installation Engineer to take ownership of onsite delivery for complex AV projects across the UK and, as part of the wider VUE AV Group, selected international projects. This is not just a technical install role. As Lead Engineer, you’ll be trusted to make decisions, communicate clearly with clients and internal teams, and protect delivery when plans change onsite, as they often do in the real world. If you’re an engineer who enjoys responsibility, variety, and the opportunity to work beyond the UK on high-quality projects, this role offers that scope.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading AV installations onsite from mobilisation through to completion
- Acting as the technical authority and senior presence on site
- Installing and commissioning professional AV systems, including dvLED
- Managing change onsite while protecting quality, safety, and programme
- Communicating clearly with clients, contractors, and Project Managers
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers onsite
- Representing the business professionally in both UK and international environments
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Lead or Senior AV Installation Engineer
- Strong technical knowledge across professional AV systems
- Ability to make sound decisions in dynamic, live environments
- dvLED installation and commissioning experience
- Manufacturer training or certification
- Willingness to travel internationally when projects require
What we offer:
- Market-aligned package
- Paid overtime where agreed in advance
- Paid additional travel time, or the option to bank it
- Time-banking for additional hours, taken back as leave
- Opportunities to work on international AV projects through the VUE AV Group
- Trust, autonomy, and respect for professional judgement
- Clear recognition of mentoring and delivery leadership
- Work on high-quality AV and dvLED projects in the UK and internationally
- Be trusted as a senior delivery professional, not micromanaged
- Gain exposure to global clients and complex environments
- Join a technically strong, supportive team that understands delivery realities
Two roles are available for this position. To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role. We look forward to hearing from you.
