Role Description

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic and hands‑on role that provides full‑cycle HR support to management and employees in the UK, partnering with business leaders to align HR strategy with business objectives.

The role focuses on engagement, retention, performance, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and provide HR support to achieve them.
  • Support and execute full lifecycle employee and HR processes including bonus programmes, promotions, performance reviews, year‑end compensation, engagement surveys, manager excellence, employee relations and other recurring people processes.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace satisfaction.
  • Analyze data and present findings to support data‑backed HR strategy.
  • Coach managers, facilitate training on employee development and coaching.
  • Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues and conduct investigations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with UK employment law.
  • Partner with HR centres of excellence to ensure execution of all HR operations for assigned client groups.
  • Process transactions via HRIS such as promotions, transfers, job and compensation changes and terminations.
  • Support HR efforts for acquisition integration and continuous improvement using AI, analytics and technology.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • HR Business Partner experience in a matrix organization.
  • In‑depth knowledge of UK employment law and regulations.
  • Strong experience with employee relations, investigations and conflict resolution.
  • Client‑service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent data analysis, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with AI technologies in HR (preferred).
  • Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Commitment to excellence, integrity and confidentiality.
  • CIPD qualification desirable.
  • Knowledge of German or Spanish employment laws and works councils desirable.
  • Additional European language skills (German/Spanish) preferred.
