Dynamic Store Fixtures, a division of Visual Elements, is an industry leader designing and producing quality store fixtures and displays for leading North American brands and retailers. Dynamic Store Fixtures offers a complete new concept for retail environment, fixtures to highlight products or a brand.
The Assembler duties will include:
- Assemble fixtures using a variety of power tools, such as table saws, drills, routers, etc., and woodworking hand tools, such as chisels, files, squares, etc.
- Work with a variety of wood veneers, plastic laminate and substrates including sanding and filing, to build and assemble fixtures.
- Ensure parts are correct and free of damage before assembly.
- Assemble all components using glue, clamps, screws, staples, or other fasteners.
- Install all necessary hardware, slides, hinges, etc. to complete units.
- Ensure final assembly matches drawing specifications and quality standards are met.
THE SKILLSET:
- 2 yearsβ experience in a woodworking shop, preferably in a store fixture environment.
- Relevant post-secondary training program or apprenticeship.
- Ability to visualize projects.
- Able to follow written instructions and ability to read detailed shop drawings.
- Work independently or as part of a team.
- Able to work within tight deadlines without sacrificing workmanship.
- A positive attitude toward teamwork and strong relational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Resourceful and a problem solver.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
