We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our team as an Art Weeks Event Manager.

Location: Remote working predominantly but includes regular in-person meetings and contact with the team. Our work is across rural Somerset, and we require you to be mobile (own transport) and willing to travel.

The Art Weeks Event Manager will coordinate and deliver the Somerset Art Weeks Festival and Somerset Open Studios events, leading on fundraising, marketing and promotional activities for the Somerset Art Works Festival 2026 (19 September - 4 October 2026).

General Tasks:
  • Provide administration and co-ordination for the Somerset Art Weeks Festival including media and press communication.
  • Manage the Somerset Art Works Membership database, ensuring it is regularly updated and accurately maintained (including Members and Friends communication).
  • Preparation of an event in the context of SAW Environmental Responsibilities with an action plan of achievable targets set with the ER team lead.
  • Maintain and update Somerset Art Weeks marketing, advertising, and sponsorship databases.
