Opportunity for a South West England-based artist to create permanent site-specific work for New Fosseway Road, Bristol.
Ginkgo Projects is seeking to commission an artist living in South West England to undertake research, design, fabrication and installation of permanent works of art for a new residential development at New Fosseway Road, Bristol, with a focus on the central Social Playable Park area.
The selected artist will undertake an offsite residency-based commission, working with the client project team and local partners to develop permanent, site-specific work(s) integrated into their setting. The creative focus is on meeting, informal play and biodiversity enrichment, with the work intended to create interest, spark joy and encourage play or interaction. Partnership working and collaborative design methods should be central to the residency.
