We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician to join our team within Vistry Manchester & Cheshire East, at our Warrington office. As our Senior Architectural Technician, you will oversee and produce working drawings and co-ordinate the procurement and distribution of technical information. More about the Senior Architectural Technician role:
- Be the main contact with all departments ensuring Procurement Programmes and targets are met, attending meetings as required
- Produce and revise working drawings on CAD system for inclusion in Working Drawing (DCO) packages / VO issues
- Liaise with specialist suppliers regarding the design of timber frame, roof trusses, beam & block floors, heating systems, TJM layouts and fitted kitchens, and ensure drawings are correct prior to issue
- Collate Working Drawing (DCO) packages
- Produce conveyance plans and other CAD information required by other departments
- Make Building Regulation applications and liaise with Building Control Officer as required to obtain approval
- Liaise with external consultants / team members / site staff to progress Working Drawing (DCO) packages or resolve queries
- Attend site to resolve queries or attend meetings
- Ensure that relevant departmental procedures are complied with
- Ensure that information produced / issued complies with Building Regulations, NHBC standards and any other relevant standards
- Assist Architectural Technicians in the performance of their tasks
- Produce drawings for planning purposes and follow up liaison with Planners to discharge conditions
