We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Finance to join our team within Vistry South East, at our office in at our office in Redhill, Surrey (RH1 1QZ).

As our Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading and shaping the commercial finance function and supporting the Finance Director and business across a range of other finance and operational matters.

This is a front-end role liaising closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate recommendations and information is presented to the local Board and division.

  • Own the preparation and review of the regional cash and P&L forecast on a monthly basis, including strategic planning and budget setting
  • Drive cash performance through robust forecasting, working capital management and effective challenge of operational stakeholders
  • Review cost-to-complete positions and provide effective challenge to assumptions and reported outcomes at monthly project review meetings
  • Review key balance sheet reconciliations and challenge assumptions on WIP unwind
  • Preparation of management accounts and supporting commentary on a monthly basis
  • Provide support to the Finance Director in production of monthly Board packs
  • Lead monthly Joint Venture reporting both internally and to JV partners
  • Ensure integrity of data on COINS and Anaplan
  • Coordinate Day 1 flash reports to FD and Division
  • Improve systems and procedures
  • Lead and drive the audit relationship at half and full year
  • Direct line management of two while assuming responsibility for driving overall finance team development and engagement; promoting a culture of ambition and high-performance
