We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team within Vistry East London at our Patchworks site in Walthamstow, London E17 4EE.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
- Manage budgets, schedules, resources and teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Liaise with partners, customers, contractors and stakeholders.
- Handle risks, issues and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Ensure safety and welfare of all individuals, following Vistry's safety policy and driving continuous safety improvements.
- Lead successful project completion, maintaining high standards of quality, time and client relations.
- Manage internal and external teams to meet project goals.
- Develop and coach team members, encouraging growth and providing constructive feedback.
- Motivate and engage employees to drive excellence in delivery.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Oversee all project-related communication.
- Develop plans to meet resource and supply chain requirements.
- Lead and facilitate key project meetings with stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Experience working on new build multi-story or housing projects.
- Experience in management of Health and Safety.
- Ability to analyse technical and commercial aspects of developments and apply solutions in terms of time, cost, quality and resource use.
- Proven operational, team-player who can set direction and delivery within challenging market conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Creates a positive environment that drives a culture of respect and mutual support.

- Valid First Aid at Work Certificate.
- NVQ Level 6–7 or BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar.

- Valid SMSTS Certificate.
- Qualified to the required CIOB Grade applicable at the time in accordance with group policy.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Project and Asta Teamplan.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety obligations and building legislation.
- Good understanding of contractor requirements to achieve high scores.
