We have an exciting opportunity for a People Business Partner to join our team within Vistry Services, at our Bardon factory. As our People Business Partner, you will provide proactive, value adding, strategically aligned support in the development and delivery of people strategies in line with business goals to the Manufacturing Leadership Teams and Executive Leadership of a number of centralised support functions. You will be an active member of the Manufacturing Leadership Team and act as a change agent in managing organisational change.

- Previous experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role with experience of a multi-site, manufacturing or distribution environment
- Excellent coaching, influencing and relationship management skills with the ability to manage a large group of stakeholders at a senior level
- Delivery focussed with the drive to overcome barriers to success
- Excellent judgement, considered approach and commercial awareness to ensure the right decisions are made for both the individual and the business
- Monitoring and implementing HR policy and practice
- Handling high volume of complex employee relations issues
- Excellent working knowledge of employment law with the ability to apply it practically to workplace situations
- Excellent understanding of HR best practice and ability to apply this to employee relations cases in a manufacturing environment
- Experience of leading on organisational change projects including restructures
- Strong Microsoft office skills and experience of HR systems

More about the People Partner role:
- Develop, build and maintain internal and external relationships with key stakeholders and professional bodies to enhance the quality of People service across the business
- Work collaboratively with leaders and drive strategic HR discussions across your allocated areas
- In collaboration with leadership teams, develop People Plans for each factory and team within your responsibility
- Work closely with leadership teams to effectively plan and update succession plans, ensuring data is accurate and revisited frequently
- Ensure consistency and compliance during pay and bonus reviews by working closely with leaders ensuring all guidelines are closely followed
- Influence and guide leaders on People related initiatives within your regions and provoke positive changes in business culture
- Coach, guide and provide expert and pro-active support and guidance to leaders and managers on People related matters including policy, procedure, best practice, engagement, employment legislation, organisational design, wellbeing, rewards and benefits
- Champion and monitor the People KPI’s within your areas of responsibility and proactively work with the leaders to improve productivity and performance
- Management and development of a People Operations Manager and a People Advisor, ensuring support is given for more complex Employee Relations cases in order to mitigate any organisational risk
- Support complex and escalated ER cases where required across the business
- Work collaboratively with the People Development and Future Talent teams to agree and implement People development solutions
- Work collaboratively with the internal Recruitment team to support in meeting resourcing plans
- Ensure managers are equipped with the necessary recruitment skills including supporting workshops with the recruitment team where appropriate
- Support with recruitment and appointment of senior level individuals within your areas of responsibility
- Act as the custodian of the Vistry Group values and ensure positive action is being taken to drive our commitment to Diversity
