Reporting to the Vice President, HR Partner UKICI, this full-time and interim position is based in the UK, allowing you to make a significant impact to our HR team.

Purpose Of Role

To act as a trusted HR partner to provide strategic and operational HR partnering across the UKICI region and Global business units and Functions, supporting business leaders to deliver organizational objectives through effective people strategies.

The role ensures high-quality employee relations, drives organisational change, and partners with leadership to enhance performance, engagement, and compliance.

You will also be required to support the development and implementation of Global HR Projects.

This role is ideal for someone proactive and professional looking to grow their career in HR and gain hands on experience in a fast paced environment.

Scope

Supporting UK, Ireland and Channel Islands, and Global Business Units and Functions as required

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic People Partnership
  • Partner with leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Provide insight and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational design and support organizational change, restructuring, integration, and transformation initiatives.
  • Learning Agility & Talent Development
  • Uses data and business insights to identify development priorities and skills gaps.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to deliver training and development programs.
  • Employee Relations
  • Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, including Disciplinary processes, Grievances, Absence management, Performance improvement, Capability issues, Redundancy and consultation processes
  • Manage complex ER cases from initiation through to conclusion.
  • Talent Management
  • Support recruitment and onboarding efforts, including offer management, and coaching managers on onboarding new starters.
  • Support talent reviews, succession planning, and development initiatives.
  • Identify capability gaps and recommend development solutions.
  • Coach managers to build leadership effectiveness and people management capability.
  • Performance & Reward
  • Support annual performance and compensation review processes.
  • Provide guidance on performance management frameworks and employee development plans.
  • Partner with Reward team on salary benchmarking, promotions, and retention initiatives.
  • Organizational Development & Change
  • Lead and support business change programmes.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, TUPE transfers, and restructuring projects where applicable.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Drive Market appropriate benefits package for EVP, and develop key relationships with our benefits brokers to ensure line of sight for market trends, customer satisfaction, and renewals
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and action planning.
  • Support wellbeing, diversity, equity and inclusion programmes.
  • Champion company values and desired culture across the business.

  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyse people metrics and trends to identify risks and opportunities.

Essential

Relevant Experience

  • Significant experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role.
  • Strong employee relations experience.
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and transformation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to analyse people data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting multiple jurisdictions or international teams.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as SAP Success Factors.
  • Experience in professional services, financial services, or corporate environments.

Education And Professional Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience).
