We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team. This role will be based in our Hong Kong office.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle full spectrum of company secretarial matters independently for a portfolio of clients (including listed/private companies).
- Act as named company secretary of client cases (if necessary), taking the lead in organizing and facilitating meetings of directors and various committees and general meetings as well as preparing and reviewing related papers/minutes, circulars, announcements and statutory forms as well as related materials in accordance with the rule requirements and client needs.
- Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties, including solicitors and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure all statutory rules and regulatory requirements are met.
- Assist seniors to research technical issues.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulatory compliance laws, rules and regulations, and advise clients of the operational impact and corporate governance matters.
- Help develop and promote new advisory products.
- Assist seniors to perform management duties e.g. training, staff development and recruitment.
- Work with the team lead to achieve the business goal and financial objectives of the department.
- Build and maintain a professional long-term relationship with internal & external parties.
- Other ad‑hoc projects as assigned by the immediate supervisor/seniors.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Governance, Law, Accounting or other relevant disciplines.
- Member of HKCGI.
- 6–8 years of experience as company secretary; preferably with sizeable professional firms or listed companies experience.
- Solid knowledge and well‑versed in Hong Kong listing rules and other relevant regulatory requirements for both listed and non‑listed companies.
- Knowledge of ViewPoint 7.4 is preferred.
- Self‑motivated, well‑organized and detail‑oriented.
- Experienced in supervising and coaching team members.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English with fluent spoken Mandarin.
