We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Director, Global SEO & Organic Growth. Reporting to the SVP Demand Generation, this full time, 9 month fixed term contract can be based in our London or Dubai offices allowing you to make a significant contribution to our funds business and its growth.

Purpose of Role: We’re seeking a visionary Director of Global SEO & Organic Growth to build, scale, and future-proof our organic search strategy across B2B channels. This role goes beyond traditional SEO — you’ll define the organic roadmap that drives pipeline contribution, builds domain authority, accelerates lead capture, and embeds search excellence across product, content, and engineering teams. You will champion content-led SEO, link-building, authority growth strategies, AEO/GEO, and technical SEO for global markets, while leading cross-functional transformation, blending technical excellence with data-driven experimentation. Additionally, you will oversee major website migrations, ensuring SEO preservation and performance optimization across CMS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Vision: Own the global SEO vision and roadmap setting clear goals, KPIs (visibility, organic revenue contribution, qualified leads, domain authority), and success metrics across markets and products. Drive long-term SEO playbooks tailored to B2B buyer journeys, intent data, lead capture, and revenue-impactful organic channels. Evangelise SEO best practices across the business and educate cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Content, Brand) on integrating organic search into planning and execution. Stay ahead of algorithm changes, emerging AI search trends, SERP feature optimisation, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and technical innovations to future-proof performance. Lead GEO and multilingual SEO strategies, optimizing content, structure, and hreflang implementation for international markets.
  • Content Strategy & Authority Growth: Develop and execute a global content strategy to support SEO and lead generation, including blog, pillar pages, gated content, video, and thought leadership assets. Lead link-building and digital PR initiatives to grow domain authority and brand credibility, working with internal teams, external partners, and agencies. Implement structured frameworks for topic clusters, content audits, and competitive gap analysis to continuously improve organic performance. Collaborate with Product Marketing and Communications to ensure content aligns with buyer intent, SEO keywords, and commercial goals.
  • Website Migrations & Technical SEO: Lead large-scale website and CMS migrations, ensuring traffic preservation, ranking stability, and SEO best practice implementation. Own global technical SEO strategy: crawl efficiency, indexation, site performance (Core Web Vitals), structured data, site taxonomy, and scaling SEO automation. Oversee enterprise-grade log file analysis, XML sitemap optimisation, canonical strategy, hreflang where relevant, and rich results optimisation. Champion AI-powered search optimisation, automated workflows, and dynamic keyword discovery processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product & Engineering to embed SEO into product launches, UX journeys, site architecture, and platform evolution. Work closely with Demand Gen, Content, and Brand to align SEO with high-impact campaigns, landing pages, and ABM initiatives. Collaborate with Sales and RevOps to connect organic performance with pipeline quality and attribution integrity.
  • Performance & Measurement: Define and implement measurement frameworks linking SEO activity to business impact lead acquisition, journey acceleration, revenue attribution, and retention signals. Lead rigorous performance reviews, experimentation prioritisation, A/B testing of SEO-driven landing experiences, and iterative growth loops. Build dashboards and frameworks (SQL, BI tools, analytics platforms) that enable real-time organic performance visibility.
  • Team Development & Agency Management: Build, lead, mentor, and scale a high-performance SEO function — including managers, specialists, analysts, and contractor partners. Vet and manage external partners and tool vendors for link-building, content creation, and analytics, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Foster a culture of experimentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning within the SEO team and across stakeholders.

Attributes / Technical Skills:

  • Strategic, analytical, and business-oriented thinker, able to connect SEO activities to commercial outcomes and revenue impact.
  • Deep understanding of technical SEO, content-led SEO, link-building, authority growth strategies, AEO/GEO, and website migrations.
  • Exceptional communicator — able to translate complex data into business insights, influence senior stakeholders, and champion SEO across functions.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change — thrives in environments where experimentation and innovation are expected.
  • Experience working with agile teams and building SEO frameworks that scale.

Relevant Experience:

  • 8+ years’ experience driving SEO strategy, ideally in B2B, SaaS, or enterprise digital businesses.
  • Proven track record of content strategy, link-building programs, authority growth, and AEO/GEO optimization that drive organic visibility and pipeline contribution.
  • Experience leading large-scale website/CMS migrations with SEO preservation and ranking improvements.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and partnering with Product, Content, DevOps, and Analytics.
  • Hands-on with enterprise SEO and analytics tools: Google Search Console, GA4/BI, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Botify, Looker/Mode, data-layer frameworks.
  • Previous success evangelising SEO best practices at scale and mentoring SEO talent across teams.

Education:

  • Advanced proficiency with SEO tools, analytics platforms, and data visualization frameworks.
  • Bonus: Certifications in SEO, Analytics and Growth + Experience with AI-driven SEO tooling & automation.
