We are searching for an enthusiastic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and support business growth. This role is responsible for prospecting, engaging, booking meetings and qualifying prospects, operating as a bridge between Marketing and Sales teams to generate new sales opportunities. Leveraging both inbound and outbound tactics, the BDR seeks to align him/herself with opportunities that have Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeline (BANT). The ideal candidate will have strong persuasion and deal-making skills to turn prospects into qualified leads. The BDR must be able to speak and write confidently and clearly, and listen empathetically to address prospect needs and articulate the competitive advantage of Vistex over similar businesses. The candidate needs genuine passion and a sense of curiosity, adaptability, and creativity to be successful and be able to respond to changing market demands.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify prospects via conversation marketing tools (Qualified), e-mail, phone, and social media (LinkedIn).
- Possesses experience using ABM tools to analyze and review data and intelligently engage based on insights.
- Engage and maintain assigned leads and contacts in Salesforce.
- Conduct short, initial qualification calls to identify opportunities for Vistex enterprise software.
- Articulate the specific value proposition and ROI that the buyer can expect from Vistex solutions and services.
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and events, leveraging intent/insights and sharing value-add marketing resources to accelerate potential interest.
- Schedule and conduct introductory calls between Sales and prospects to assess opportunity and viability.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects and align with BANT criteria.
- Open opportunities, update and maintain prospects with summary notes and next steps in Salesforce.
- Record and report performance in line with goals to ensure they are being met.
