Retail Security Officer - Middlesbrough
Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Retail Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our client's premises, staff, and customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the store environment, preventing theft, and responding promptly to incidents. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic retail setting where attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount. The successful applicant will be trained in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies, contributing to a secure shopping environment. MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO SHIFTS THAT WILL INCLUDE DAYS, EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS
Excellent pay rate £12.81 per hour
Duties and responsibilities:
- Based in a retail store
- Patrolling the store inside and outside
- Providing a visual deterrent
- Responding to incidents
- Being welcoming in a front facing role
- General security duties
Essential:
- SIA Licence
- Good standard of English including speaking and writing
- Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice and for scheduled holidays
- Must be able to get to site location
- Previous retail security experience
Desirable:
- Drivers Licence and own vehicle
Employment information:
Working on a 4 on 4 off rota pattern
Shifts are Monday to Saturday: 10:00-17:00 and Sunday: 13:30-15:30
Average of around 23 hours per week
Days and evenings including weekends
