What you'll do
- Design and implement scalable and robust iOS applications that adhere to best practices in mobile development.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into functional and appealing mobile applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development to continuously improve our applications.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of learning within the team.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services, ensuring seamless data flow between mobile applications and server-side components.
- Collaborate with QA teams to define testing strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage for all applications.
- Document development processes, code changes, and application functionalities to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
- Engage in agile development practices, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to enhance team productivity.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools, helping to streamline workflows and enhance team efficiency.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on iOS platforms.
- Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, with a solid understanding of iOS frameworks and design patterns.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries, as well as familiarity with tools such as Git for version control.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, with the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly applications.
- Proven experience in debugging and performance optimization of mobile applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SwiftUI and Combine for building modern iOS applications.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Firebase for backend integration.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Previous experience in mentoring or leading a team of developers.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
