We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-focused Aircraft Interior / Cabin Specialist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in wood finishing, lacquer spraying, painting, or similar hands-on craftsmanship to develop specialist skills within the private aviation sector. Previous aircraft interior experience is not essential, however, a strong background in working with wood, lacquer, laminates, painting, or similar materials is required. Full training will be provided for component/material-specific tasks. This role offers excellent long-term career progression and the chance to work both in the UK and abroad.
Your Responsibilities
- Repairing lacquer finishes to a high cosmetic standard
- Spraying lacquer and refinishing interior components
- Sanding and polishing lacquered surfaces
- Repairing, applying and replacing laminate foil
- Removing and refitting aircraft cabin interiors
- Carrying out composite repairs
- Adjusting and aligning cabin fittings
- Working with basic hand tools and heavy workshop machinery confidently and safely
- Ensuring all work meets high quality and safety standards
- Completing tasks efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Required Skills, Qualifications, And Experience
- Experience in wood finishing, lacquer spraying, painting, laminating, or similar hands-on practical trades
- Confident use of basic hand tools
- A keen eye for detail; perfectionist mindset essential
