We are a family-run progressive, independent small animal Veterinary Practice who are looking for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join our small team. The successful candidate will join an experienced team of certificate holders providing mentorship and supporting clinical development. Ideally, a minimum of 2 years experience in practice, however, this can be overlooked for the right candidate.
Vista Vets is a first-opinion practice with the facilities to also accommodate varied caseloads with the added benefit comprising of a large prep room with a complete in-house laboratory, and imaging suite with high-end ultrasound and DR X-Ray. A spacious surgical theatre equipped for a wide range of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries.
We offer a generous CPD allowance with the added benefit of RCVS fees included, alongside VDS fees. An ambition to enrol into a small animal postgraduate certificate programme will be very welcomed and supported. Participation in developing a friendly, vibrant and supportive environment, focused on high clinical and personal standards is a must, alongside providing excellent customer service in addition to patient care.
To focus on a great work-life balance, we offer a 40 hour week, based on working 4-5 days per week including weekends on a 1 in 4 rota. A paid holiday allowance of 5 weeks + bank holidays will also apply. Located in Chelmsford, within a short drive to amenities such as Chelmer Village and Chelmsford City centre, Chelmsford train station is also within a short distance and provides a direct link to London and surrounding areas. Competitive salary based on experience.
