Head Registered Veterinary Nurse Job Vacancy in Chelmsford
Seeking a full‑time Head Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our independent and friendly team! We are a family‑run, progressive, small animal veterinary practice looking for an enthusiastic Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us on a full‑time basis. This position would be well‑suited for a proactive individual who is passionate about high standards of patient care, enjoys working within a supportive team, and values client communication and education, whether in preventative or emergency scenarios.
Ideally, candidates will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in practice, however this is not essential for the right applicant.

About You
- RCVS registered veterinary nurse
- Friendly, professional and confident working independently or in a small team
- Willing to lead the nursing and patient care team and maintain excellent communication between all teams

Work‑Life Balance
We are focused on supporting a healthy work‑life balance. The role is 40 hours per week and would consist of one weekend in four.

Located in Chelmsford, within easy reach of Chelmer Village and Chelmsford city centre. Excellent transport links are nearby, including Chelmsford train station, which offers direct routes to London and surrounding areas.
