We are a family-run progressive, independent small animal Veterinary Practice who are looking for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join our small team. Vista Vets is a first-opinion practice with the facilities to accommodate varied caseloads, including a large prep room with a complete in-house laboratory, and imaging suite with high-end ultrasound and DR X-Ray. A spacious surgical theatre is equipped for a wide range of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries.

We offer a generous CPD allowance with RCVS fees included, alongside VDS fees. An ambition to enrol in a small animal postgraduate certificate programme will be very welcomed and supported.

To focus on a great work-life balance, we offer a 40-hour week, based on working 4-5 days per week including weekends on a 1 in 4 rota. A paid holiday allowance of 5 weeks + bank holidays will also apply.

Located in Chelmsford, within a short drive to amenities such as Chelmer Village and Chelmsford City centre, Chelmsford train station is also within a short distance and provides a direct link to London and surrounding areas.
