We are looking for a QA Test Engineer for Maternity Cover FTC with the possibility of a perm role within our London team to drive testing and deliver quality software to our digital services/platforms across the Powster ReactJS/NodeJS/AWS technical stack. This is an exciting opportunity that will challenge/develop your QA skills for our projects across our movie/music industry clients who include Universal, Disney, Twitch, Netflix, Sony Pictures and many more. Projects range from immersive AR experiences through to high-concept websites and cutting-edge interactive activations.

Requirements

  • Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create detailed test plans and test cases to identify defects and ensure software quality.
  • Design and Implement Automated Tests: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with developers to integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle.
  • Monitor and Report on Testing Process: Track and document test results, report defects, and provide feedback to the development team.
  • Continuously Improve Testing Processes: Evaluate and recommend new testing tools and methodologies to enhance test automation.
  • Maintain Test Environments: Set up and manage test environments to ensure accurate and efficient testing.
  • Analyse Test Results: Investigate and analyze test failures, providing detailed documentation and reports.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven QA experience: You have a minimum of 2+ years as a Test Engineer working within an AGILE software delivery environment.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose issues, analyse test results, and provide solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to identify potential issues and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Knowledge of different stages of the SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, and scripting languages like JavaScript.
