The Head of International PR is responsible for overseeing the Press Relations and campaign planning, messaging and execution for the Vista, VistaJet and XO brands across international markets (all outside of U.S.), identifies communications opportunities to support sales; creates and manages storytelling opportunities according to market conditions and demands; ensures the accuracy and efficient dissemination of information across relevant communications platforms; evaluates the effectiveness of campaigns within market. This will be a full time 14 months maternity cover.

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute brand communications campaigns, storytelling and communications planning across international markets for the Vista, VistaJet and XO brands;
  • Support Vista Director of Group Communications and Group CMO to drive Vista, VistaJet and XO business goals and brand objectives;
  • Regional PR strategy, management and execution across key markets, in particular the UK, mainland Europe, Middle East, Africa;
  • Support, build and manage overview of PR in APAC markets;
  • Manage and execute other PR and campaign project opportunities in other international markets as they arise and are required;
  • Support Vista Director of Group Communications as needed on Group and global announcements;
  • Support VistaJet and XO partnerships teams to amplify message of key partnerships and activations;
  • Identify, develop and execute regional storytelling calendar to sync with news cycle, media opportunities and business goals;
  • Manage Executive Committee (ExCo) and spokespeople's profiles and interviews;
  • Uncover and manage key opportunities for brand/spokesperson exposure (such as panel discussions);
  • Build relationships with key journalists by sharing regular business updates, coordinating informational interviews and tactical opportunities;
  • Keep growing Vista's reputation as the leader of the industry, ensuring consistency of messaging in press and key long-term touchpoints;
  • Grow the company's press and influencers network, leading on a new influencer media strategy and plan;
  • Manage Vista PR agencies for international markets, including running weekly meetings and tracking KPIs;
  • Write, manage and distribute press releases and briefings internally and externally;
  • Define clear and tactical timelines and KPIs;
  • Forecast and maintain monthly regional budget for campaigns and PR spend;
  • Collaborate with Vista, VistaJet and XO brand teams to ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels;
  • Build long-term and trusted relationships with stakeholders, employees and brand partners;
  • Copywriting for business, lifestyle and trade stories;
  • Support the Crisis Communications plan;
  • Perform any other tasks reasonably required to be undertaken in accordance with the instructions of the Reporting Manager.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • PR experience, either internal or agency, working with a luxury business and/or product, or in the travel/hospitality sector;
  • Experience of working directly with high level Executives;
  • You are a proactive, driven, and keen team player and possess excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Previous responsibility of multi markets and management/execution of campaigns;
  • Experience of working across different markets, either personally or as part of a global team;
  • Able to juggle a number of projects at one time;
  • Excellent English copywriting skills embodying the voice of a brand;
  • Language skills advantageous.
