Overview
We’re seeking an innovative, forward thinking and strategic leader to drive our Corporate Services Directorate. This role will ensure essential support services are embedded to enable VisitScotland to operate efficiently and transparently, in line with governance and accountability standards, to deliver on our organisation objectives to grow the value of tourism and events to Scotland in a sustainable way.
The position is responsible for ensuring effective organisational governance, playing a principal role in our Executive Leadership Group, reporting to the Scottish Government and VisitScotland Board.
The postholder will lead a directorate of 45 staff, overseeing a diverse portfolio of corporate functions including finance, legal services, governance and performance management, and procurement. The role also includes responsibility for managing an operational budget of approximately ÂŁ1 million.
The role is accountable to the Chief Executive Officer.
