Full-time Assistant Greenkeeper vacancy at Ripon City Golf Club. Ripon City Golf Club is recognised as one of the best presented golf courses in the north of England with excellent attention to detail.
We are looking to recruit an assistant greenkeeper to join our dedicated team by offering a fantastic opportunity to improve their career and development. The successful candidate will report directly to the head greenkeeper and be fully involved in everyday maintenance and course set-up to the highest standards as well as having a sound machinery background including health and safety awareness.
The position offered is a full-time annualised 42 hour working week and a weekend rota of 1 in 4 as part of your salary.
What we are looking for:
- Good communication skills with a positive attitude at work and attention to detail
- Team player with a flexible approach to work and hours
- A willingness to learn essential
- Previous experience in golf course maintenance a must with a minimum level 2 qualification preferred
- A willingness to continue their professional development and work to the highest standards of greenkeeping
- Someone who takes pride in their work
- A full UK driving license
- Spraying and chainsaw certificates are preferred but not essential
