We are growing fast and looking for a motivated, roll-your-sleeves-up Recruitment & Care Coordinator to help us build and manage a top-tier care team while ensuring smooth and compassionate care delivery to our clients across North London.
Responsibilities:
- Match clients with carers based on skills, personality, and availability.
- Prepare and manage client care schedules using our rostering software.
- Act as the first point of contact for care staff and clients regarding schedule changes and queries.
- Liaise with the Registered Manager on care reviews, quality assurance, and updates to care plans.
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for carers, from sourcing and interviewing to compliance and onboarding.
- Develop creative local recruitment strategies (community outreach, events, digital, referrals).
- Maintain and grow a consistent pipeline of high-quality, reliable, and compassionate carers.
- Ensure a smooth, positive onboarding experience for all new hires.
- Ensure all carers are fully compliant with internal policies and CQC regulations (DBS, Right to Work, references, training).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on our care management system.
- Support with CQC inspection preparation and quality audits.
- Promote a culture of recognition, respect, and retention among the care team.
- Organise regular carer check-ins, well-being activities, and team events.
- Act as a bridge between carers, office staff, clients, and families.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in home care recruitment and/or care coordination.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Confident communicator with a warm and professional manner.
- Strong IT and admin skills (rostering tools, applicant tracking, Microsoft 365).
- Genuine passion for delivering high-quality home care.
- Knowledge of CQC compliance and safer recruitment – useful!
- Previous experience in a fast-growing, fast-moving care agency.
- Familiarity with systems like Birdie, CarePlanner, PeoplePlanner or similar.
